TSA Carriers Postpone Huge Dec. GRI

Carriers in the Transpacific Stabilization Agreement covering the eastbound Asia to U.S. trade have postponed implementing a massive general rate increase originally set to be implemented on Dec. 15. The carriers intend to implement the $1000/40′ Congestion Surcharge applicable to containers received on or after November 26th, 2014 at foreign ports (for imports to West Coast ports) and USA West Coast ports (for exports).
